System for People Detection and Localization Using Thermal Imaging Cameras
Představujeme metodu detekce a lokalizace osob s pomocí nízkonákladových termálních kamer FLIR Lepton 3.5 a malých počítačů Raspberry Pi 3B+.

Pedestrian modelling during sport events outside of the stadium
Zelinka, Petr ; Plášek, Josef (referee) ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with modeling the movement of people around the new Brno sports stadium after the end of the match. The process of modeling the movement of people was done in Pathfinder. The output is an analysis of the current risks associated with the quality of the transport, the determination of the time to exits, the comparison between different variants and attendance.
Detection of People in Room Using Low-Cost Thermal Imaging Camera
Stories of the New Testament as the key to education for coexistence and understanding in civil society.
LORKO, Radomíra
The thesis deals with the possibility of using the stories of the New Testament in value education in the family, regardless of whether its members are believers or not. The theoretical part sheds light on the important role of the family in value education. It views the family as a basic element of society, resp. as a fundamental community for education on basic values, the content of which is necessary for the building of civil society. Furthermore, the education of values is viewed from the point of view of the church through church documents and through the educational system of the Czech Republic. The practical part is experimental. It is divided into three parts. The first part is a set of structured meetings on topics such as freedom, courage, compassion, love of neighbor, tolerance and openness, including an introduction to the methods used. In the second part, both families are characterized. Both selected families do not profess any religion, have two children and two adults, agree with the proposed cooperation and belong to the middle class of the population. The third part of the experiment describes the application of the proposed programs and the result of the practice. Although the positive result of the experiment may be influenced by the fact that these are the families of the author's friends, it still has its weight precisely because all participants were not obliged to participate only in their sincerity resulting from trust in interpersonal friendships. A significant result of the work can be considered verification that the combination of different approaches to the text, from variant reading, listening to artistic expression, makes both attractive and seemingly uninteresting texts or topics that seem to stand outside of everyday life. The pupils of the second grade responded best to the program and, as they themselves expressed in the final discussions, appreciated the opportunity to express their opinions openly and in sufficient space and to express their creativity towards the given goal. Family members agreed that working in this experiment was fun, inspiring, and brought them new unexpected experiences.

Rooijakkers, Jitka ; Povolná, Pavla (advisor) ; Mertl, Jiří (referee)
The master thesis deals with the quality of care provided to people with dementia and their informal carers. The aim is to compare health care and social services for this group of patients in two countries - the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The first part defines the dementia syndrome, its diagnosis, symptoms, treatment and management of dementia. This is followed by the topic of palliative and hospice care and euthanasia The thesis also includes the concept of long-term care, which is purposely limited in this thesis to only that part which is provided either by a health service provider or by a social service in the patient's/service user's home environment. The next section refers to laws, regulations and policy documents that relate to the topic of care for people with dementia. The last part of the theoretical definition of this thesis describes the health and social service system in the Netherlands, including reference to strategic documents that shape the care of people with dementia and their informal carers. The empirical part includes the elaboration and analysis of qualitative research, which I conducted through interviews directly with informal carers.

Hrdá, Karolína ; Lejsal, Matěj (advisor) ; Tollarová, Blanka (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to identify and to describe barriers to the implementation of person-centered care in specific residential care facility for the elderly. For this purpose, the author firstly conceptualizes the concept of person-centered care. Consequently, she develops the Framework for conducting research. The theoretical portion consists of five chapters. The first chapter focuses on the person- centered care concept introduction, then it describes the relationship between concepts 'individualization of care' and 'person-centered care'. In the conclusion of the first chapter, the Schema of the concept is introduced. The Schema visualizes the structure for chapters two to five. In those chapters, a description of the systems defined in the Schema is provided. Those are: Care Recipients, Direct Care Actors, and Service Providers. The end of the first part brings the topic of a suitable organizational culture. The empirical portion firstly offers the summary of the theoretical background - so follows the Framework for the consequent analysis and data interpretation - then introduces relevant aspects within researched organization, particularly within organization currently implemented a psychobiographical model of care that is the approach to person-centered care. The empirical portion...
